My Story
Growing up as a long-distance swimmer, I learned to think deeply, reflect on purpose, and solve problems with every stroke. Those quiet, focused moments taught me endurance, clarity, and quiet determination—qualities that continue to shape how I approach creative work. My parents’ simple but lasting advice? “Just keep swimming.”
That mindset led me through an early love of psychology, writing, journalism, fine art, communication, and advertising. It all came together in graphic design—a space where curiosity, ideas, storytelling, and strategy meet.
Over the years, I’ve brought that lens to nonprofit theaters, design studios, mid-sized businesses, and global brands like Adidas. In every role, I’ve helped teams solve creative challenges and communicate with authenticity, clarity, and purpose.
Recently, I’ve embraced AI’s transformative potential in design—blending deep experience with emerging tools to create innovative, socially impactful solutions. This new chapter has reignited my passion for creative exploration and opened the door to meaningful collaborations that make a difference.
I’m currently diving deep into AI design—now in my second 7-week intensive—exploring how new technologies can amplify creativity, sharpen strategy, and unlock fresh approaches to brand storytelling. My focus is on integrating AI in ways that enhance, not replace, traditional creative thinking and human insight.
This term, I’ve also begun teaching Graphic Design at Mount Hood Community College, where I lead a capstone course in strategic design thinking. It’s a full-circle moment—guiding the next generation of designers while continuing to grow my own practice.
Whether it’s building a brand from the ground up, designing immersive retail environments, or creating tools that empower small businesses—I work closely with clients to surface their unique strengths and turn them into compelling, strategic visuals.
With the same tenacity I had as a swimmer, I dive deep into research, strategy, and storytelling—combining timeless design thinking with modern tools to help brands grow with purpose and connect in more human ways.
